OLPADIN

Olopatadine 0.1%
Sterile Eye Drops

 

Description:

Olpadin is a sterile eye drops containing Olopatadine, which is anti-allergic drug.

Composition:

Olpadin Sterile Eye Drops: Each ml drops contains Olopatadine Hydrochloride INN equivalent to Olopatadine 1 mg. 

Indications:

Olpadin Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis.

Dosage and Administration:

One to two drops of Olpadin Eye Drop twice daily in the affected eye(s).

Contraindications:

Olopatadine eye drops are contraindicated for patients who are hypersensitive to olopatadine hydrochloride or any other component of this preparation.

Use in Pregnancy:

Not adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women have been performed. Therefore, it should be carefully considered whether the potential benefit to the mother justifies the potential risk to the embryo or fetus.

Use in Lactation:

It is not known whether topical ocular administration could result in sufficient systemic absorption to produce detectable quantities in human breast milk. Olopatadine Eye Drops should be used with caution in breast-feeding woman.

Use in Children:

Safety and effectiveness have not been established in children below 3 years of age. Warnings:

Instillation of eye drops may cause transient blurring of vision. Caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery if blurred vision is experienced.

Side Effects:

Headache, asthenia, blurred vision, burning or stinging, cold syndrome, dry eye, foreign body sensation, hyperaemia, hypersensitivity, keratitis, lid oedema, nausea, pharyngitis, pruritus, rhinitis, sinusitis and taste perversion. 

Drug Interactions:

Olopadatine Eye Drops have low drug interaction potential as systemic levels of olopatadine achieved after ocular dosing are negligible.

Storage: 

Store at 4° -25° C temperature.  Keep out of the reach of children. 

Packing:

Each plastic dropper bottle containing 5 ml sterile eye drops.
