Description:

Calbon M is a combination of calcium, vitamin D3, magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper and boron. Calcium is needed for the formation of strong bones and healthy teeth. Magnesium helps in proper functioning of nerves and muscles, formation of bones and energy metabolism. Manganese and copper involved in collagen and elastin production. Therefore, manganese and copper are essential for the integrity and elasticity of tissues, bones and organs. Copper is also necessary for the maintenance of healthy nerve and joints. Zinc is necessary for proper growth and development. It also plays vital role in increasing immunity of the body. Boron also maintains the bone health. Vitamin D helps to make strong bone and teeth by increasing the absorption of calcium in the body.

Composition:

Each Calbon M tablet contains Calcium (as calcium carbonate) 600 mg, vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) 200 IU, magnesium 40 mg, manganese 1.8 mg, Zinc 7 mg, Copper 1 mg and Boron 250 mcg.

Indications:

Calbon M is indicated to maintain strong bones and teeth, as well as the health of the heart, muscles and nerves. It is also needed for bone development and constant regeneration of bone.

Dosage & Administration:

2 tablets per day, preferably 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening.

Side-effects:

Mild and transient effects of gastrointestinal disturbances, like constipation, flatulence, nausea, diarrhoea may be seen in some individuals. Following administration of vitamin D supplements may cause skin rash in some rare cases. Hypercalciuria have been seen with long term use at high dosages. Precaution: Patients suffering from any renal dysfunction and hypoparathyroid should be careful when taking this medicine.

Contraindication:

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Periodic checks of plasma calcium levels and urinary calcium excretion should be made in patients with mild to moderate renal failure or mild hypercalciuria.

Use in Pregnancy & Lactation:

Calbon M should be used as directed by physician during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.

Drug Interactions:

Calbon M has possible interaction with digoxin, antacid containing calcium, aluminum or magnesium, other calcium supplements, calcitriol or other vitamin D supplements; tetracycline, deoxycycline, minocyclin or oxytetracycline etc. So, before taking Calbon M, suggestions of the physicians are needed.

Storage:

Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.

Each bottle contains 15's & 30's tablet.
