In this seminar the results of Bioequivalence study was discussed that was recently done under the Department of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacology of Dhaka University. In this study it shows that Omep of Aristopharma is bioequivalent to the research brand of AstraZeneca, Sweden and hence they are interchangeable. It may be mentioned that this is the first of this kind of research in our country. Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Rafique Uddin, Ex-Professor & Head, Department of Medicine, Dhaka Medical College has presided over this seminar as Chairperson where Prof. Dr. Md. Tahir, Vice-Chancellor, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka has enlighten the chair of Chief Guest. Also Prof. Dr. Choudhury Mahmood Hasan, Chairman, BCSIR, Ex-Director of Drug administration, Dhaka has delighted the chair of Special Guest. Prof. Dr. A.S.M.A. Raihan, Chairman, Dept. of Gastroenterology, BSMMU has discussed the importance of Bioequivalence study in clinical practice.
