Super Antioxidant Vitamin Plus Multimineral Tablet
Description:
Vitace-M is a film-coated tablet,
which combines some antioxidant vitamins and trace minerals.
Composition:
Each tablet contains Vitamin A (Beta carotene)
BP 2000 IU, Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) BP 200 mg, Vitamin E (Vitamin
E acetate) BP 50 IU, Vitamin K BP 75 mcg, Selenium (Sodium selenate)
USP 70 mcg, Zinc (Oxide) BP 15 mg, Copper (Cupric oxide) Ph.Gr.
1 mg and Manganese (Sulphate) BP 3 mg.
Indication:
Vitace-M neutralizes free radical cells
and thus protects the cells in our body from accelerated aging.
This is a unique preparation to prevent atherosclerosis, which
leads to coronary heart disease. Vitace-M maintains a
healthy immune system and prevents certain types of cancer.
It is useful in patients with end stage renal disease. Lens
and retina suffer oxidative damage and Vitamin A, C, E are implicated
as protective. Vitamin A is necessary for growth and repair
of body tissue, bone, skin, teeth and hair. Vitamin C is important
in counteracting ‘nitrosamines’-a cancer causing compound. Vitamin
E is a supreme antioxidant for reducing the risks of cancer
and cardiovascular disease. Vitamin K is the extraordinary vitamin
with antiaging property. It helps blood coagulate and prevents
osteoporosis, cancer and arteriosclerosis. Selenium is necessary
co-factor for antioxidant enzymes that protect immune system.
It enhances the antioxidant effect of Vitamin E. It acts against
liver cirrhosis and liver necrosis. Selenium protects human
skin from UV-induced damage. Zinc is important for enzyme systems.
It has a role in retinal metabolism and may be beneficial in
macular degeneration. Copper is important co-factor of a number
of enzymes. It has anticancer effect and expels toxins from
our body. Manganese performs the job for healthy nerves and
for a healthy immune system.
Dosage and Administration:
The adult dose is 1(one) tablet daily, or as
prescribed by the physician.
Contraindication:
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity
to any of the components.
In Pregnancy and Lactation:
Recommended by the consultation with the physician.
Side effects:
Generally, Vitace-M is free from side
effects within its dose limit and said to be well tolerated.
